Having only been opened since late-2018, the Northern Monk is one of Manchester’s newest joints. Home to three bars and owned by a Leeds-based brewery, Northern Monk features exposed brick walls and wooden floors, sporting a cool atmosphere for your chilled night out.

This venue, with a dedicated bourbon bar, live music, open-mic-nights, quizzes and food all day makes this a great socialising spot. Perfect for a night out with friends or a casual afternoon drink with colleagues.

This industrial style bar can be found down a flight of stairs (disabled access available) with all night ping pong tables and a fun vibe, this is the perfect spot to spend a night out with your mates.

Think utterly cool, stylish interior and a DJ on Fridays and Saturdays: Whilst you can dine at The Refuge, it really is a cool space for a drink with your friends. Bonus points for the non-alcoholic cocktails being actually delicious here.
