Brighton Influencer Spotlight: Megan Griffin

Behind The Scenes of Brighton’s Favourite Influencers

As we all know, Brighton is a place full of creatives, but recently there has been a noticeable rise in the amount of stunning blogger feeds that show Brighton in its best light. The Brighton Influencer Spotlight is a series of Brighton babes that are creating stunning Instagram content and always find the prettiest houses to get their #OOTD.

Spending time on Instagram is now also a guide to find the newest places to eat and see the loveliest food before you’ve even looked up the menu. This interview series introduces fabulous influencers who live in Brighton or the surrounding area and take advantage of the best of what the city has to offer to create their content.

Next up is Megan Griffin, 21. She currently works full time in marketing for an accountancy company and also does freelance social media work as well as blogging! Her are her answers to what she loves about Brighton (and Hove!).

Describe your blog in 3 words

Life, ranting and reality

Brighton’s best background

I love taking photos by all the colourful houses down the Lanes, but also Palmeira square is so pretty. The beach huts in hove are super cute, too! There are so many good little spots!

No. 1 tip for Instagram

Engage with others!

Share the love

@sophiemilner_fs, @chloeplumstead, @georgiawin, @lukecatleugh and @hannahfgale

Favourite piece of equipment:

I don’t have much equipment at them moments, but my favourite app is definitely VSCO for editing photos.

How did you start as an influencer?

I started following a few bloggers on Instagram and really like the idea of starting my own blog, which I then did! I started to get really into making pretty photos on Instagram and made friends with some local Brighton bloggers. I started taking Instagram more seriously and doing shoots such as outfit photos and campaign shoots.

What do you love about living in Brighton?

I love all the restaurants and pubs, living near the beach and the uniqueness of the city.

Best places to shop in Brighton?

Velvet! It’s not in Brighton, but it is in Hove, and I am obsessed with it! The shop sells clothing, accessories, homeware, candles and just everything you could ever want - I love it!

Favourite place to eat in Brighton?

I really love The Ginger Pig, The Connaught and Olive Grove.

Thanks to Megan for taking the time to answer my questions. Make sure to check out her Instagram as well.
