Ultimate Guide To Places To Work From In Milton Keynes

2020 brought normality to remote working in Milton Keynes and beyond. Flexitime and remote working has continued in 2022 and for most, they are fed up with having to work from home all the time and need a change of scenery. We’ve gathered a list of cafes, bars, hotels to work in to help you pick where to go. 


New Day Cafe 

An independent cafe based in central Milton Keynes, Ashton House. The perfect office environment to feel like you’re still at the office. 

Opening Hours: Mon - Fri, 8am to 3pm

Bogota Cafe

A cafe based in the heart of our restaurant district, The Hub in Milton Keynes. Bogota is independently owned with a sociable atmosphere and an optional seating area outside.

Opening hours: Mon-Fri 8am to 3pm, Sat- Sun 9am to 3pm

The Green Elephant

An independent cafe serving organic and natural food and beverages, based in Acorn House, home of our grant-making charity, MK Community Foundation. The Green Elephant offers an inside and outside seating area and the perfect setup for getting creative as well as completing that to-do list.

XpressoNet

An independently owned internet cafe based in Xscape in Central Milton Keynes, home of our well known indoor ski slope. Xpressonet also has computers and use of a printer/scanner for those without access at home for a small charge.

Brewhouse & Kitchen

A localised brewer with three floors and a new work space area, perfect for co-working.

HomeGround Cafe

A social enterprise cafe with locally owned coffee, with all funds raised put back into its attached charity, YMCA Milton Keynes.

Out of Office

An independently owned and currently expanding, it’s community driven atmosphere is the perfect getaway for time away from the same four walls, with locally sourced pastries and coffee beans.

MK Gallery Cafe

The Cafe Bar at MK Gallery is managed in-house so all profits go directly towards supporting their award-winning exhibitions, learning and community programmes.

Opening Hours: 10am- 5pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, Late nights - Tuesday, Friday and Saturday to 7.30pm

Moxy Hotel

A newly placed hotel in The Hub that works as a ‘social hotel’. An incredible lobby area with a variety of tables and endless plug sockets perfect for coworking space.

Opening Hours: TBC, however after 6pm the music gets louder and lights more dimmed

Brewdog meets Deskdog

Brewdog at the hub has introduced Deskdog, where you can get for just £7 a table to work at all day along with free Wifi, free unlimited coffee or tea AND a pint of Punk IPA at the end of the day to toast all of your hard work.

Opening Hours: Monday to Wednesday, 4-11pm. Thursday to Saturday 12pm - 11pm
