Christmas Cocktail Recipe: Foxy Lady
How to make a Foxy Lady Cocktail
There’s almost no better way to welcome the festive season that is Christmas, than to have a nice Christmas themed drink. For this own creation, I chose rosemary and sage as herbs, because not only their colours, but their smells are usually associated with Christmas and go really well with the pomegranate flavour. Also Gin, especially Tanqueray gin, is really suitable to underline the natural rosemary & sage flavour.
Cocktail Ingredients
4cl Tanqueray Gin
4cl pomegranate juice - 100% juice, unsweetened
1cl self-made sage and rosemary syrup
Splash of lemon juice - freshly squeezed
How to make the Rosemary and Sage Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine half a cup of sugar and half a cup of water.
Toss in a couple leaves of fresh sage and rosemary.
Bring to a boil, and stir gently until the sugar has dissolved.
Strain the leaves from the syrup and allow it to cool completely before using.
What you need for the Foxy Lady Cocktail Garnish
1 tsp. of pomegranate seeds
Fresh sage and rosemary sprigs
Step-by-step instructutions for the Foxy Lady Cocktail
