Review
An enticing whodunnit and incredibly staged performance.
If you haven’t seen the film ‘Murder On The Orient Express’, I would suggest waiting until after you see this stage Thriller with a twist of well fitted comedy.
*Spoiler*
The performance was staged in its true 1930s film style, exceptional costumes, stage furniture, and script.
We don’t want to give too much away but if you are new to this Thriller, lucky for us the title gives away the synopsis, this stage Thriller is based on the Agatha Christie, Murder on The Orient Express.. A clear ‘whodunnit’ theatrical performance. A night where your sheer focus is required on the accurately transformed train and carriage furniture, the cast and their backgrounds and their detailed costumes.

Michael Maloney, (Hercule Poirot) who leads in uncovering the Murder, couldn’t have been a better pick and finely matched with witty Bob Barrett, playing company owner, Monsieur Bouc. The Ensemble to us was perfectly picked to truly support building the tension, suspicions and attempting to throw us off guard to really find out whodunnit.
The staging of this theatrical performance was the highlight of the night and the talk of the intervals, something lots of theatre fans will talk about for a long time. Conversations between being amazed by the revolving life-size train that broke up into the scenes helping us become detectives for the night seeing every detail of the scenes we should be investigating.
See If: You love thriller whodunnit performances.
Last Impressions: A truly incredible recreated Thriller that reminds us the importance of every part of theatre: cast, costumes and staging.
