Fatto a Mano

Three Fatto a Mano pizzerias are dotted across Brighton and Hove, so wherever you are in the city, pizza is always nearby! The menu is extensive with both red and white sauce bases available and toppings to try like the fennel sausage and Neapolitan broccoli pizza. 

Each restaurant also has an outdoor dining space, perfect for an evening of pizza and wine in the Laines.

Amici

While Amici may be situated in Hove rather than Brighton, it is definitely worth the short train ride. This little restaurant close to Hove station has a team of wonderful staff who will make you feel like part of the family and serve the best pizzas in town.

The pizzas are not only delicious, but they are also such a reasonable price with most costing between £9-11. Amici also serves heavenly desserts such as banoffee pie and tiramisu. If you have a real sweet tooth, you could try the scialatielli alla Nutella.  

Purezza

If you want vegan options, Purezza is the place. Now with two restaurants in the city, they opened the UK’s first vegan pizzeria serving everything from dough balls to cheddar with vegan ingredients, including vegan mozzarella that was perfected in a laboratory.

There are three pizza base options to choose from: sourdough, hemp and gluten free, and the menu is designed to replicate versions of classic Italian dishes, making Purezza a great choice for both vegans and meat eaters. 

VIP Very Italian Pizza

All of the ingredients come from the family’s very own farm in Naples. The homemade sourdough pizzas are constantly changing toppings so it’s worth trying the specials too. The weekend specials include the wild mushroom, parma ham and walnut cream pizza. 

Situated in the Old Steine area, VIP is also well located for a late night drink in Kemptown after your meal. 

Si Signore

Si Signore is located in the vibrant North Laines making it a prime spot for a lazy lunch. As the tables are stretched out across Sydney Street over the weekend, an outdoor seat at Si Signore is ideal for people-watching.
