Helping women in Leicester find their community
Leicester Girl is our 26th community to join our growing network of over 160,000 women across the UK. This was inspired by a move to Leicester by a Bristol Girl and wanting to create that lifeline for herself and her new community in her new city.
For over 9 years, the City Girl Network has hosted parties, book clubs, comedy nights, craft workshops, charity fundraisers and so much more. That’s not forgetting the usual coffee and drinks meet ups, bringing the whole community together.
Our new Leicester community will open up more opportunities to allow even more women than before to ‘belong where they are’.

We're on a mission to make every woman feel at home in their city - but we can't do this alone
The City Girl Network wouldn't exist without the incredible, generous help of over a hundred girls living in our cities. Over the last few years, we've had help from girls with a whole range of skills to start up this fast-growing social network.
There are lots of reasons why people volunteer: to give back to their City Girl community, to add it on their CV, to learn new skills or connect with people on a similar mission.
