Chester Women’s Aid
Chester Women’s Aid has been in existence since 1976, setting up Chester Refuge and running it with volunteers. Chester Women’s Aid focuses on raising awareness of domestic abuse and raising money via donations and events for local families experiencing domestic abuse unable to access statutory sources of funding. The main aims of Chester Women’s Aid are:

Chester Sexual Abuse Support Service (CSASS)
CSASS is a women-only space on 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday), providing specialist support for women survivors. When you contact them, it will always be a woman on the other end of the phone or reading your email as CSASS appreciate that this may be what some individuals prefer in order to feel safe and understood.
