5 tourist things to do in Edinburgh

Edinburgh Castle

This castle is so rich in history,  you’d be a fool not to go. The oldest part dates back to the 12th Century so it’s a pretty fascinating place. Totally #iconic too.

Royal Botanic Garden

A beautiful and scenic tourist trip, would look pretty good on your Instagram too. Wander through the gardens and marvel at nature then head into the giant greenhouse for some more exotic plants. Keep it royal, just like you.

Camera Obscura

Camera Obscura is an 182 year old tourist attraction, and for good reason! It is a visual delight showcasing allsorts of illusions, mind-tricks and puzzles. You are guaranteed a fun time, thank us later.

Arthur’s Seat

Arthur’s Seat is the highest point in Holyrood Park and from this ancient volcano, you will have views for DAYS. So if you want to do something touristy but want to get away from the bustle of the city centre, run for the hills.

Blair Street Underground Vaults

Edinburgh is full of history, and like all historical places, this means it has it’s fair share of spirits and spooks. Here you can walk under modern Edinburgh through haunted passageways while being guided on a ghoulish tour. Chilling.
