Ancient + Brave Launches £100,000 Fund to Help Women Over 30 Bring Their Brave Dreams to Life

There’s something powerful about deciding it’s not too late.

This year, female-founded wellness brand Ancient + Brave has launched The Endeavour: a national bravery initiative backed by a £100,000 fund designed to help UK-based women over 30 turn long-held dreams into reality.

What Is The Endeavour?

The Endeavour is a funding and mentoring initiative created to unlock adventure and celebrate brave women.

Whether it’s:

  • A once-in-a-lifetime personal challenge

  • An improbable group adventure

  • An unexpected comeback

  • Or unfinished business you’ve quietly carried for years

Ancient + Brave is inviting women to step forward and say: this matters to me.

Up to four women (or groups of women) will each receive up to £20,000 in funding, alongside:

  • Nutritional guidance

  • Expert mentoring

  • Ongoing community support

  • Documentary-style storytelling of their journey

The initiative was inspired by the brand’s 2025 partnership with Bluetits 6, a wild swimming collective preparing for a 2027 Channel relay. A reminder that bravery often starts with one decision to try.

Why This Matters

Research continues to show that outdoor adventure and challenge are catalysts for psychological growth and wellbeing. Yet modern life keeps so many women in maintenance mode.

According to the British Heart Foundation (2025), eight out of ten people in the UK want a “new lease of life”, and 61% don’t feel fulfilled in their personal lives.

Sound familiar?

The Endeavour recognises something we speak about often in this community: adventure isn’t indulgent. It’s agency. It’s confidence. It’s remembering who you are outside of your roles.

As Ancient + Brave founder Kate Prince shared in the launch announcement, adventure is a way of “putting that dream back on the calendar.”

A Question for Our Community

If funding, support and belief weren’t barriers…

What would you attempt?

At City Girl Network, we talk often about belonging. But belonging isn’t just about finding your people, it’s also about reclaiming your own story.

The Endeavour is an invitation to stop postponing yourself.

We’ll be right here cheering you on!
