Your Guide to Brighton Dome Comedy Festival 2026

Brighton Dome Comedy Festival returns this October, bringing some of the biggest names in stand-up and sketch to the city. This year, Brighton Dome are teaming up with Komedia, meaning double the laughs across the ten-day bonanza. And once again, all performances at Brighton Dome will be captioned, making sure you never miss a word.

Here are some highlights to look out for:

Catherine Bohart: Borrowing Trouble

Irish comic, actor and podcast host Catherine Bohart performs a brand-new show taking on the funny side of mental health, lesbian breakups and family dynamics, turning the messier parts of life into brutally honest, relatable humour.

Tom Davis: Spudgun

BAFTA-winning comic Tom Davis is back with a new tour, dishing out his freshly cooked observations on life’s hot topics. Known for his big-hearted, larger-than-life presence on screen and stage, Davis turns everyday frustrations into belly-achingly funny material, with plenty of audience interaction and self-deprecating humour.

All My Friends Day Disco

Perfect for those who like comedy with a side of dancing, All My Friends indie disco makes its long-awaited Brighton debut on the Festival’s opening Saturday. Hosted by BBC comic podcasters Elis James, John Robins and Dave Masterman — DJ'ing together for the first time in over two years — expect an afternoon of indie and pop bangers from the 80s through to now, plus a few special guests.

Siblings: Dreamweavers

Award-winning character comedians Maddy and Marina Bye perform as Siblings. Absurd, raucous and downright delirious, this highly praised surreal sketch show promises a knock(ed) out hour of ‘ferociously funny’ (Guardian) comedy.

Maisie Adam: Whatsherface

Taskmaster champion and Brighton’s own Maisie Adam brings her trademark wit, firecracker gags and gloriously angry outbursts to a brand-new show. As seen on A League Of Their Own and Last One Laughing, get ready for an evening of self-deprecating stand-up that swings between quickfire one-liners and full-blown, delightfully chaotic rants.

Solve-Along-a-Murder-She-Wrote

The cult-hit murder mystery stage show is back at Komedia, with games, quizzes, prizes and plenty of audience participation. It’s silly, interactive and perfect for an unusual night out of genuine, unpredictable fun.

Amy Matthews: Definitions of Toast

Author, podcaster and Have I Got News For You writer Amy Matthews performs a night of sharp, satirical stand-up exploring endings, new beginnings and navigating her first queer relationship in her 30s. Mixing dry wit with genuinely moving observations, expect an intimate evening of self-aware confessional humour.

An Evening with Katherine Ryan: Firstborn Daughter

Award-winning comedian Katherine Ryan delves into her new book, unpacking what it means to be an eldest daughter with her signature sharp, self-deprecating wit. Known for her fearless takes on family, relationships and modern womanhood, this show promises the same razor-sharp humour in a personal, reflective format, with a copy of the book included with every ticket.

Sam Campbell: Kid Giblet

Absurdist Australian comedian and Taskmaster series 16 winner Sam Campbell brings his hit show to Brighton Dome, packed with oddball storytelling and gloriously chaotic observational humour. Not to be missed for anyone who likes their humour a bit weirder and wilder than the norm, and with two nights on offer, there’s no excuse not to grab a ticket.

Funny Women Live in Brighton

Komedia's longest-running and most successful comedy night showcases the very best in new female-identifying and non-binary comedy talent, alongside professionals and Funny Women Award-winning stars.
