This family-run glampsite has become a local favourite among those seeking eco-conscious comfort. Think solar lighting, upcycled interiors, and natural materials; all set against the backdrop of wildflower meadows and whispering woodland. Each stay feels personal and intentional, thanks to the thoughtful touches from hosts Claire and Ade, who’ve built Caracol around community, sustainability, and wellbeing.
Below, Rural Sussex Girl and CGN’s Wellbeing Expert, Caz from CJ Yoga, shares her experience from a recent stay — a reminder of why Caracol has become one of Kent’s most loved eco-glamping escapes.
Eco-Friendly Glamping with Real Comfort in the Kent Countryside
In the words of Caz…
The simple things can bring the deepest joy. ✨️
Caracol Glamping has created a rare kind of sanctuary; luxurious yet simple and sustainable yet indulgent.
Caracol Glamping is nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside, just 10 minutes from Tunbridge Wells and 1 hour from London.
It’s a place where the shadows of wild flowers dance across the canvas of your tent, where woodland walks and dreamy meadow views invite you to pause, and where every detail has been carefully thought through to bring comfort and connection.
Days here unfold gently: we had a picnic dinner gazing up at drifting clouds, did Yoga as the sun rose across the fields, and had long conversations over steaming mugs of tea, savouring breakfast while wrapped in blankets. Hours slip by unnoticed.
As evening falls, fairy lights sparkle against the darkening sky while hot showers, clean toilets, and the cosy bell tents with real beds and thick duvets promise warmth and rest.
Caracol balances nature and comfort. From the fully equipped kitchen and communal spaces to hot water bottles and extra blankets, hosts Claire and Ade have truly thought of everything. Their eco-friendly ethos, wildflower meadow conservation, upcycled furnishings, and collaboration with local partners make your stay feel both restorative and responsible.
There’s a lovely woodland walk you can do from the campsite to Groomsbridge Farm Shop where you can get great coffee and local produce, or even organise a picnic basket to be ready for you when you arrive at Caracol.
We found a great circular walk through the woodlands and beautiful local villages before we left. It felt like a true escape.
We returned home grounded, rested, and deeply happy. Caracol Glamping reminded us of the wonders of slowing down: of creating space to pause, to connect, and to simply be.
Weddings, Wellness Retreats & Corporate Stays at Caracol Glamping

Whether you’re planning an intimate countryside celebration, a mindful team gathering, or a rejuvenating yoga retreat, the space offers the perfect blend of nature, privacy and luxury.
Each booking requires a minimum two-night stay, giving guests the time to properly unwind and connect with the surroundings. The entire site can be hired exclusively, allowing for tailored events that reflect your group’s needs and values, from sustainably sourced catering to guided woodland walks and outdoor yoga sessions.
While the site is now closed for the season until April 2026, bookings are already open for next year — and they sell out quickly. Regular guests return year after year for the peace, beauty and care that define every stay, so it’s worth planning ahead if you’re dreaming of a Kent countryside escape.
