Die Twice Unleash New Music Video: “Jalapeño”

Alt-rock four-piece Die Twice have recently shared the music video for Jalapeño, the second track in their debut EP "Accept Me Like a Lie”, and it’s the perfect symbol of the band’s creative ethos.

Die Twice’s music can be described as dreamy, embellished with poetry and sensory details that make up for a rich, luxurious world. The visuals that accompany it aren’t any less fantastical.

The video was directed by Milo Hume, the mind behind Geese‘s Au Pays du Cocaine, and is as visually stunning as the music is captivating. A man is seen stumbling through a house in near darkness - light elusive as a firefly, dancing on shadows and walls. There’s a dreamlike quality to the air, where nothing seems fixed in place and we never linger long enough to put things in focus. Knights in shining armours are seen fighting before we too join the masses of bodies, hands and faces melting together. The song picks up in its intensity as we struggle to escape the madness, and when we finally do we run and run and land on the beach. Finally the coldness of the ocean shakes us awake of our dream, guitars desperately weeping until the song finally comes to its bitter end.

You can catch Die Twice at their EP release show on Friday 12th June.
