The Location
Kassari Holiday Resort is set by the coast on the beautiful island of Hiiumaa. Juniper fields, coastal meadows, and winding walking trails surround the property, giving it an almost untouched feel. The famous Sääretirp ridge (a natural sand spit stretching into the sea) is a short stroll away, making sunset walks here an absolute must.
The Rooms and Stays
The resort offers a mix of hotel rooms and guesthouse units, each providing a clean and practical base for exploring the island. While the accommodation is simple, it’s bright, airy, and thoughtfully equipped with small kitchenettes, air conditioning, and modern keyless access. Balconies or terraces give you space to enjoy the fresh coastal air, and the layout makes it easy to settle in whether you’re staying for a night or a few days.
The Facilities: Dining, Sauna and Coastal Walks
The Lest & Lammas restaurant is a lovely space for hearty, seasonal dishes that celebrate Estonia’s coastal bounty. We were only able to experience the breakfast here, which was a basic collection of fruit, rye bread and cereal.
For relaxation, there’s a simple sauna that will help you clear your mind. Outdoor lovers can rent bikes or boats, or simply wander the nearby beaches and nature trails.
The resort also has a conference centre that can host up to 120 guests, making it a versatile choice for business retreats or celebrations.
