MK Girl’s Favourite Pizzas in Milton Keynes

There are so many pizzerias in Milton Keynes you could get lost just trying to find the best ones! Fortunately for you, several of our MK Girls have already done the heavy lifting. It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta try all the pizzas so we can recommend the best ones to you.

Between three of our MK Girl writers we have tried a lot of pizzas in and around Milton Keynes. And here are our favourite ones!

Jessica’s Favourite Pizzas

I am dairy free so I’m always on the lookout for a pizza place with good vegan cheese. Luckily, there are several pizzerias in MK that cater really well to dairy free and vegan diners!

Murati’s Pizzeria (Newport Pagnell, Olney, Wolverton)

I usually tend to avoid Italian restaurants like the plague. Between all the mozzarella and parmigiano, there's just too much sneaky dairy to manoeuvre around! But Muratis Pizzeria,  Milton Keynes' local independent Italian chain, are different. They have an entire vegan menu, and nice vegan cheese for their pizzas. What's more, their seafood pizza comes cheese-less and is better for it imo. One of the best, non-standard pizzas I've had and one of my favourite things on their menu!

Their pizzas have really flavourful, chewy, crispy crusts and are baked in a gorgeous traditional pizza oven. You can order them for takeaway when the restaurant isn’t too busy. But I highly recommend booking a table to get your pizza hot and fresh. And maybe even a cocktail or two!

The Greedy Pizza (Bletchley)

I don't know how they do it, but the best dairy free pizza in town is definitely from The Greedy Pizza in Bletchley! It is so good that I now compare literally every other vegan cheese pizza to the ones we've had from The Greedy Pizza. And while many others are very strong contenders, they nearly always come up short.

Greedy’s pizzas are more “fast food” style pizza, with thick, fluffy crusts. Though they are of course so much tastier and made with fresher ingredients than any chain! They have one dedicated vegan pizza on the menu, but are happy to swap out the dairy cheese for vegan on any of their pizzas. And if you’re a fan of garlic bread, you definitely want to try the cheesy garlic bread pizza. Even with vegan cheese it’s ooey gooey cheesy garlicky perfection!

The Greedy Pizza offer delivery and takeaway every evening except Tuesday-Saturday. They get backed up so it’s always best to pre-order if you want your pizza piping hot and at a specific time!

Jade’s Favourite Pizzas

Made In Sud (Central MK)

My favourite place to go for a reliable and delicious pizza is Made in Sud, located in Midsummer Place or should I say “the new bit” it is the best place to get your pizza fix. My go to will always be a classic margarita, you just can’t beat it, not only is it ridiculously cheap but it is consistently delicious, every time.

Oleevo (Broughton)

If you’re hosting a dinner party, getting together with a few friends or just a self care night at home, oleevo (located in Broughton) is the perfect place to go! They have a great menu, so many toppings to choose from to put on your 18” pizza (yes, 18”!) and so many great sides and even pasta. If you visit, make sure to get a side of Aracini, trust me!

The Greedy Pizza

I also have to agree with Jess on this one. If you are looking for a super cheesy pizza, this is the place for you. It is the ultimate comfort food. They do a great range of sides paired with yummy dips. If you’re catering for a large party, they also have HUGE rectangle pizzas, one that would definitely impress your friends.

Lisa’s Favourite Pizza’s

Amore Pizzeria (Bletchley)

Somewhere to get great takeaway pizza from is Amore Pizzeria, located in Bletchley. They deliver to surrounding areas, or if you’re outside of that area like I am, you’re able to order for collection too. Amore Pizzeria is a family run business, serving pizza in a traditional wood burning pizza oven. I love takeaway pizza, but often find they can be quite greasy - but there’s something about wood fired pizza that never feels that way leaving it with great flavour instead. Amore’s pizzas are proper Italian pizza, made with fresh ingredients, and taste incredible. As well as serving fantastic pizza, Amore also serves handmade gelato, for the full authentic Italian pizzeria experience.

I fully recommend the salsicce and caramelised onions pizza, and the mozzarella garlic bread - both of them taste incredible, I love the caramelised onions, and the mozzarella is perfect. Just be warned they both arrive not sliced, so be on hand with a pizza cutter. Amore also frequently has deals on their pizzas, so worth keeping an eye out!
