Review: Sassy Tables

Renting out a tablescape for bespoke parties and events gives those special occasions an extra special edge. The expert eye of a professional tablescaper is a skill that takes time, talent, and patience – and we thank our lucky stars that companies like our Bristol Girl, Andreea’s, very own ‘Sassy Tables’ exists.

But what’s actually involved to get a bespoke Sassy Tables sent to your door? Bristol Girl, Jasmine, was recently sent an iconic rental tablescape to answer just that.

The Process

It was really easy to receive the tablescape. We arranged a time for the kit to be dropped off and Andreea arrived promptly with 2 boxes. Sassy Tables can help with the table setting but I opted to do the setup myself.

There are multiple options for signature tablescapes but Sassy Tables also offer a bespoke service so your requirements can be tailored.

I had received photos of what the tablescape could look like when set up so I knew roughly what would be in the boxes. What I didn’t know was that each of the items was carefully wrapped up (including bows!) so I got to unwrap each one like a little present, which definitely helped get me in the festive mood.

The tablescape kit came with a lot of intricate items, which meant you could be flexible and creative with putting it together. As my table is on the smaller side, I used some of the items that I didn’t have room for as decoration around the room, which I think added to the look!

The Tablescape Design

I had set up the ‘Cosy’ tablescape which came with lots of festive touches - think pinecones on the garland, red berries wrapped around the candle bases, and tealight holders in the shape of a Christmas tree. It was definitely more wintery woodland rather than full Christmas, which meant it didn’t look out of place on my table in November.

I loved that items like plates, glasses, and cutlery were included as they made the whole thing look complete - my mismatched crockery would not have looked as elegant!

The Aftermath

Takedown of the tablescape was quick, we arranged when Andreea would come and collect and it all went smoothly. She checked to make sure everything was okay with the tablescape.

I can honestly say my table had never looked so good, I would recommend a tablescape service for anyone wanting to level up their dinner party.
