Review
“Saturama” was an immersive installation exploring themes of nature, ecosystems, language, and tradition.
Created and performed by Werkha, Saturama combined music, video, and poetry to let us explore England’s very own rainforests. The aim of the ‘immersive documentary’ was to take a closer look to this forgotten environment, and highlight its important within the larger ecosystem in which we live.
The installation also included some snippets of poetry and spoken word in a local, almost forgotten dialect, which highlighted to relationship between our language and our environment, and how efforts to conserve one may also positively affect the other.
We were kindly gifted these tickets in exchange for a review
