The RISE X Revolution: Brighton’s Festive Reset for Mind, Body and Soul

RISE, Wild Roots Retreats and LuinLuland have teamed up to create a two-day celebration of self-love, empowerment and unapologetic festive joy right here in Brighton & Hove.

Before the Christmas chaos sets in, give yourself the ultimate gift: time to reconnect, reset and rise. Local domestic abuse charity RISE Brighton, a Brighton Girl supporter, has teamed up with Wild Roots Retreats and the ever-fabulous LuinLuland to bring you The RISE X Revolution; a two-day celebration of empowerment, self-love and sisterhood.

Taking place on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th November at The British Engineerium in Hove, this soulful, community-powered event aligns with the global 16 Days of Activism campaign — a movement focused on ending gender-based violence and promoting collective action. This year’s theme, Ending Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls, sets the stage for a weekend of reconnection, reflection and unapologetic celebration.

What to Expect

Friday: The Wild Roots Sound & Soul Reset (£35 for a day ticket, £65 for the weekend)
Ease into your weekend with a grounding, heart-opening evening led by Wild Roots Retreats. Expect soulful dance, gentle movement, empowerment rituals and a blissful sound journey to help you release the week and reconnect with your joy.

Saturday: The Dopamine Disco + Self Love Revolution (£35 for a day ticket, £65 for the weekend)
Start your day with Wild Roots’ Dopamine Disco, designed to wake up your body and lift your spirit. The morning flows into powerful talks from RISE Brighton, who’ve supported thousands of women — including many Brighton Girls — to rebuild their lives free from abuse.

After a nourishing Wild Roots Kitchen lunch (included in your ticket), the incredible LuinLuland takes to the stage for Self Love Unleashed. It’s an unapologetic, high-energy one-woman show that’s part comedy, part catharsis, and entirely empowering. Expect laughter, truth-telling and the iconic SUSIE Self Love Bus parked outside to explore.

The afternoon continues with creative and wellness workshops, aligned traders, and plenty of festive dress-up and connection. The event closes with a rebellious raffle, raising vital funds for RISE’s life-changing work.

Why Brighton Girls Love It

This is more than a Brighton wellness event. It’s a movement of women standing tall, supporting one another and celebrating joy in its purest form.

For years, RISE Brighton has been there for local women. They’ve helped hundreds of Brighton Girls within our community to escape domestic abuse, find safety, and rebuild confidence. Now, this event gives us all a chance to come together in celebration, solidarity and self-love.
