vybey Complete Nutrition Bars Review: The Plant-Based Bars Designed For Meals AND Snacks

Protein bars can be a bit of a gamble.

Some taste like chocolate bars pretending to be healthy. Some taste like gym supplements pretending to be snacks. And some have an ingredients list that feels more complicated than the snack itself.

vybey’s Complete Nutrition Bars sit in a slightly different space. Each plant-based bar contains 20g of protein, alongside fibre, vitamins, minerals and nootropics, making them a more substantial grab-and-go choice than a standard protein snack.

The range includes Chocolate Brownie, White Choc Raspberry and Chocolate Mint, with ingredients including dates, oats, almonds and coconut powder.

In other words, these are bars for people who want something functional, filling and still enjoyable to eat.

What are vybey Complete Nutrition Bars?

vybey was founded after Gordon, one of the brand’s founders, was balancing full-time work, studying law and competing in athletics. He started making a nutritious smoothie formula to help him stay fuelled throughout busy days, before sharing it with friends and family and eventually developing the idea into vybey.

The brand is built around convenient, complete nutrition for people with busy lives, and these bars take that idea into a more snackable format.

Each 80g bar is designed as “brain and body fuel”, supporting everything from muscle function and focus to sustained energy and digestive support. They are intended to work as either a meal or a substantial snack, making them useful for busy days, desk drawers, travel, post-gym snacks or those moments when lunch has not quite happened.

How vybey Complete Nutrition Bars taste

We tried the three flavours: Chocolate Brownie, White Choc Raspberry and Chocolate Mint. All targeted the people like us (and a big chunk of our audience) with a sweet tooth.

The Chocolate Brownie was easily the best. It had the richest flavour, the most satisfying texture and felt the most like a better-for-you snack that still delivered on taste. It was chocolatey and filling without feeling too sweet.

White Choc Raspberry was lighter and fruitier, with the raspberry adding a little sharpness. This one is probably best for people who prefer a sweeter, dessert-style flavour.

Chocolate Mint was fresh and pleasant, but not our favourite of the three. It worked, but Chocolate Brownie was the one we would reach for again first.

As for the texture; they’re not heavy or sticky in the way you might expect from some nutrition bars. They still feel substantial, but the texture is much softer than that overly chewy, hard-work kind of bar.

When would you eat them?

These are best suited to busy days when you need something more filling than a quick snack.

They would work well after a workout, between meetings, on a train, in your bag during a day out or as a 3pm desk drawer option. The Chocolate Brownie in particular feels like a good choice when you want something chocolatey, but still want it to feel like proper fuel.

Because they are designed to be either a meal or a substantial snack, they also feel like good value for money. A pack of 12 is currently £29.99, which works out at roughly £2.50 per bar.

Should you buy vybey Complete Nutrition Bars?

Yes, especially if you are looking for a filling, plant-based nutrition bar that feels more enjoyable than the usual functional snack.

The Chocolate Brownie was the standout for us, with the richest flavour and best texture. White Choc Raspberry is a good option if you prefer something even sweeter, while Chocolate Mint adds a cooler flavour to the range.

They are more substantial than a standard snack bar, but not as dense or sticky as you might expect from a complete nutrition product. If you want something sweet, filling and convenient for busy days, vybey is worth trying.
