iCaSH (integrated Contraception and Sexual Health) is our local NHS clinic in Milton Keynes. The service provides all aspects of sexual and reproductive health, including contraception, sexually transmitted infection (STI) and HIV testing and treatment.

Terrence Higgins Trust

Terrence Higgins Trust are the largest voluntary sector provider of HIV and sexual health services in the UK and in Milton Keynes these services are delivered in partnership with iCaSH Milton Keynes. They provide free testing for HIV and STIs. You can access this using one of the following methods:

  • Arrange a face-to-face clinic appointment

  • Order a HIV self test kit

  • If you’re aged 16 to 24, you can also order a free chlamydia test from us online

There is a Young Person’s Drop-In at No. 624 iCaSH Clinic (for patients aged 16 to 24 years old) which takes place every Tuesday from 4.30pm to 7pm. They also coordinate the Milton Keynes C-Card Scheme, which offers free condoms and lube for 13 to 24 year olds.

MK Act

MK Act is a charity in Milton Keynes which works with over 100 families’ every day to help them move on from fear and abuse. They have been providing safe emergency accommodation in Milton Keynes for women and their children escaping domestic violence for over 40 years.

SAASSBMK -  Sexual Assault and Abuse Support Service Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes

SAASSBMK services are for survivors of all genders over sixteen that have been affected by sexual violence. They also work with partners to provide support for children over the age of 5 in Buckinghamshire, and to provide support to survivors of all genders who have experienced domestic abuse.

They provide women only safe spaces in both Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. The provision of women only spaces is important as SAASSBMK recognises that sexual assault and abuse is both a cause and consequence of gender inequality within our society and so is a crime that disproportionately affects women and girls.

Mental health Support

Mind BLMK 

MIND BLMK is a mental health charity that offers a wide range of free services to support you. The charity offers support in many ways, not just counselling. All their services are accessible via their website and include Peer Support which brings together people of similar lived experiences to provide emotional or social support.

Mind Matters is a discussion group which offers a safe environment to discuss issues relating to mental health. There is also a Mentoring service that provides one to one support to help people achieve their goals.

Rethink 

Rethink Mental Illness provides a service that aims to support you to lead an independent life in the community and work towards your recovery. They provide a range of community-based services, including running open sessions in different locations, community-based activities, workshops and one-to-one working.

They run a successful closed Facebook group which informs you about service activities and offers support from staff and peers. Some people that use the service also run a weekly peer-led support group which we can introduce people to for additional peer support.
