WOLFOX FOR COFFEE

These organic coffee roasters have five cafes dotted around Brighton and Hove, each with their own unique fee and design. The Gardner Street cafe provides smoothies and vegan snacks, while the bakery in Hove is home to fresh croissants and creamy oat flat whites. Their decadent blends are also available to buy, allowing you to brew delicious coffee from your own home.

LUNCH AT LA CHOZA

This vibrant, award-winning Mexican restaurant offers tasty eat-in and takeaway street food. It prides itself on sourcing ingredients from small independent suppliers. The dishes are bursting with flavour and are served in a funky interior adorned with neon lights and graffiti artwork that helps you to get in the mood for Mexican food.

GUNGHO TO IMPRESS YOUR DATE

Voted Brighton’s best bar in 2018, Gungho is a sustainable cocktail bar that uses local ingredients to create quirky drinks. There’s a disco drinks menu dedicated to retro classics such as pina coladas in addition to a seasonal cocktail menu based on local produce. The bar has an intimate, fun vibe and is an ideal date spot. It can get busy, so make sure to book in advance.

DINNER AT THE CURRY LEAF CAFE

This colourful and homely South Indian eatery offers affordable street food, curries and bespoke craft beers. At lunchtime, it’s a cosy cafe where you can work and sip on masala tea. At night, however, the cafe transforms into a hubbub of enthusiastic diners tucking into delicious dishes. The Curry Leaf Cafe is now also offering chilled ready meals delivered directly to your door.

SUNDAY ROAST AT THE EAGLE

The Eagle pub is a true hidden gem in Brighton. The lively but relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff reel you in and make it hard to leave. Here, you can enjoy a scrumptious Sunday roast with all the trimmings after having had a wander around the Lanes with your friends.
