Brighton Girl Crochet Workshop: Make a Granny Square with Cathy Van Hear
Join crochet expert Cathy Van Hear for a relaxed, beginner-friendly evening where you'll learn to make your very own granny square, one stitch at a time. No experience needed, no pressure, and plenty of good company. Cathy will guide you through it all, so you'll leave with something you've made with your own hands (and a new reason to switch off your phone).

Brighton Girl Walks The Story Trail: An Amaze Sussex Fundraiser
Join Brighton Girl for a walk around 20 of the Story Trail's BookBenches; each one has been designed by a talented local artist! The trail was brought to Brighton and Hove by Amaze Sussex, the local charity supporting families with disabled children.
We'll start at Brighton Station and head down to the pier. From there we'll cut through town, follow the seafront, and finish at Hove Museum.
Every penny goes to a good cause. All proceeds from your ticket are going to Amaze Sussex. If you'd like to give a little more, you can add a donation at checkout.

When: Saturday 7th November, 2pm–4pm
Where: Brighton Station. Meet us at the first bench of the story trail, "Andromeda".

Manifest 2027: Meditation, Breathwork and Vision Boarding
Start the new year with a vision board workshop in Brighton, combining guided meditation, breathwork and a creative vision boarding session, all in one relaxed, friendly event at Living Room Brighton.
Over a few hours, you’ll slow down after Christmas and the New Year, recharge your energy, and set clear intentions for 2027. You’ll leave with a finished vision board that reflects what you want from the year, whether that’s your career, health, fitness, relationships or travel.
Everything is provided, including the images, quotes and inspiring words. All you need to do is turn up and enjoy it. It’s a great way to meet other Brighton Girls, switch off, and start the year with purpose.
What you’ll do
Unwind. A guided meditation to let go of the festive chaos and gather your energy.
Recharge. Breathwork to bring in fresh energy, as you start to welcome in your dreams and intentions for the year.
Create. A hands-on vision boarding session. Choose what speaks to you from our images, quotes and words, and bring your 2027 to life.

Brighton Girl Talks Fertility
Fertility has a way of coming up in conversation sideways – a friend’s news, a chat over dinner, a late-night scroll. But how often do you get to talk about it properly, with someone who actually knows?
Brighton Girl Talks Fertility is your chance. In partnership with London Women’s Clinic, we’re bringing together a small group of women for a relaxed, conversation-led evening – with expert insight and the space to ask the questions you may not know where else to take.

Instead of sitting through a presentation, you’ll join guided small-group conversations about the things that matter to you – from how fertility changes over time to what egg freezing and fertility preservation really involve, and the options open to you.
A fertility expert from London Women’s Clinic will be with us all evening, offering clear, trusted information and answering questions as they come up. We’ll finish with a group Q&A – and if there’s something you’d rather not ask out loud, you can submit it anonymously.

Bristol Girl Ceilidh Night at The Canteen
Ready to swap your usual Wednesday night plans for something a little more energetic? Bristol Girl is heading to The Canteen for a night of drinks, live music and ceilidh dancing.
We’ll meet from 7:30pm for drinks and a chance to get to know everyone before the dancing kicks off at 8:30pm, with an instructor there to guide us through the steps. So whether you already know your Strip the Willow from your Gay Gordons or have absolutely no idea what we’re talking about, you’re very welcome.
It’s a relaxed, social night designed for meeting new people, having a laugh and trying something a little different with the Bristol Girl community.

What to expect
We’ll meet at The Canteen from 7:30pm for drinks and introductions before the ceilidh dancing begins at 8:30pm. There’ll be an instructor leading the dancing, so you don't need any previous experience — just come ready to get involved.

The Canteen is on one level and offers step-free access to all or most areas of the venue, including access to an accessible toilet. A wheelchair-accessible toilet is available within the main public areas.

Fancy a trip to Malaysia as we head into the colder months? We can't manage a Bristol Girl trip there just yet but we can take Bristol Girls to Red Tiger, one of the few restaurants serving authentic Malaysian Food in Bristol!
Red Tiger opened in the covered market in St Nicks in 2024, satisfying home sick Asians and curious foodies since then with their offerings. They have recently opened a second bigger venue, which means it's now time for a Dinner Club at Red Tiger!

Rural Sussex Girl Autumn Equinox
Join Rural Sussex Girl as we balance our summer and winter energies to welcome Autumn; The season in which nature reminds us to let go of what no longer serves us! 💜
As the trees begin to lose their leaves, we’ll share a journaling practice to release what we don’t want to hold on to, making space for more of what we want.

This rural retreat afternoon is held at Tranquillity Yoga Studio, a gorgeous converted barn at the edge of the Ashdown Forest with stunning countryside views. It’s the perfect spot for a morning of hibernation.
